Ist sie doch die weltweit \u00e4lteste Einrichtung Ihrer Art, die auch in diesem Jahr wieder Austragungsst\u00e4tte zahlreicher nationaler und internationaler Veranstaltungen ist&#8230;.<\/p>\n<h4>Der milit\u00e4rische F\u00fcnfkampf &#8211; ein Abbild der Herausforderungen an die Streitkr\u00e4fte<\/h4>\n<p>Der milit\u00e4rische F\u00fcnfkampf ist nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg aus dem modernen F\u00fcnfkampf hervorgegangen. 1946 schuf der franz\u00f6sische Offizier Henri Debrus einen rein milit\u00e4rischen Wettkampf, der sich an den aktuellen Trainingsmethoden milit\u00e4rischer Einrichtungen orientierte. Dementsprechend wurden Fechten und Reiten durch andere Bewerbe ersetzt, da deren Bedeutung in der Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts in der milit\u00e4rischen Praxis &#8211; und somit auch in der Ausbildung &#8211; stark zur\u00fcckgegangen war&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4>Heeresmeisterschaft im Zeichen wachsender Herausforderungen<\/h4>\n<p>An den diesj\u00e4hrigen Herresmeisterschaften, die von 04.-06.07. in Wiener Neustadt stattfanden, nahmen rund 40 Sportler aus 2 Bundesl\u00e4ndern (Nieder\u00f6sterreich und K\u00e4rnten) teil. Auf Grund der derzeitigen Umstrukturierungen, aber auch der laufenden und in Vorbereitung befindlichen nationalen und internationalen Eins\u00e4tze war es leider nur einer kleinen Schar m\u00f6glich, diese Wettbewerbe zu bestreiten.<\/p>\n<h4>Generalprobe f\u00fcr den Internationalen milit\u00e4rischen F\u00fcnfkampf<\/h4>\n<p>Doch trotz der genannten Widrigkeiten waren die Heeresmeisterschaften wieder ein Wettbewerb, bei dem gute Stimmung herrschte und wo die Anwesenden sportliche H\u00f6chstleistungen vollbrachten. Au\u00dferdem war er bereits ein organisatorischer Probelauf f\u00fcr das n\u00e4chste Event, das die n\u00e4chste Woche ebenfalls in unserer Stadt \u00fcber die B\u00fchne gehen wird: den internationalen milit\u00e4rischen F\u00fcnfkampf, bei dem ab 9. Juli Teilnehmer aus 18 Nationen in Wiener Neustadt anwesend sein werden und wo zwischen 12. und 14.
